A man was jailed after attacking a security guard at a pole dancing club
Liverpool: So, there was this guy, Lee Blowes, who really lost it at a pole dancing club. He ended up attacking a security guard with a glass after allegedly getting a bit too handsy with a dancer. Not cool, right?
After the whole mess, he walked off threatening people, saying stuff like, “you don’t know who we are.” This wasn’t his first rodeo either. Just a few months back, he had pulled an axe during a fight at a pub. Can you believe that?
The court heard that he whipped out the axe while at House of Ivy in Southport. Thankfully, the door staff stopped him from causing any real harm. But then, on another night, he got into trouble at Eccentric Gentleman’s Club after being accused of slapping a dancer’s backside, which he denied.
Things escalated quickly. He got aggressive and was caught on camera trying to attack a staff member with a glass. As he was being kicked out, he smashed a CCTV monitor on the floor. Talk about a dramatic exit!
Blowes has a history of trouble, with previous convictions for assaulting a police officer. His lawyer mentioned that he was under the influence of alcohol and dealing with some personal issues, which made him act out. He admitted to several charges and got a two-year sentence along with a restraining order.
During sentencing, the judge pointed out how serious his actions were, especially pulling out an axe in a busy pub. He warned Blowes to think about his behavior, especially when drinking. It’s a tough lesson, but hopefully, he’ll learn from it.
