Port Talbot: So, there was this wild incident on the M4 where a guy named Jeffrey Stevens drove the wrong way. He just stopped right in the middle lane! Can you believe it?

It all went down early in the morning, around 3:45 AM. A police car spotted him driving slowly in the center lane. Then, out of nowhere, he made a U-turn and headed back against the traffic. The police quickly got on the case and tried to catch up with him.

As he drove west towards Port Talbot, he slowed down and finally stopped. But the police were right on his tail, blocking him in. When they approached him, he looked pretty out of it, like he was drowsy. He claimed he was just dropping off a friend in Cardiff and thought there was a crash ahead.

They tested him for alcohol, and that came back negative. But a drug test showed cannabis in his system, even though he insisted he had never smoked it. He was taken to the station but refused to give a urine sample and ended up falling asleep in his cell.

In court, it turned out he had a bit of a history with driving offenses. The judge was pretty concerned about his behavior and sentenced him to a year in prison. He’ll serve half of that before getting out on license. Plus, he’s banned from driving for four years. What a mess!
