A man drove over his wife twice, leaving her with severe injuries after claiming she embarrassed him, a court has heard.
So, on April 14 last year, after Sandra left him, he found her in a parking lot. He tried to force her into his car and even grabbed her phone. When a family member showed up, Budge got angry and drove straight at her. He hit her, and she ended up on the ground. But he didn’t stop there; he turned around and ran over her again.
It’s just heartbreaking. Sandra suffered serious injuries, including damage to her lungs and liver, and had to stay in the hospital for a long time. Budge was eventually found and arrested after trying to escape.
In court, he admitted to what he did and expressed regret for his actions. The judge called it an extremely serious offense and is now preparing a report before deciding on his sentence. It’s a tough situation, and it’s a reminder of how serious domestic abuse can be.
