Staffordshire: A man is in trouble for breaching a restraining order. This comes as police look into the death of a woman named Philippa Lewitt. She was found in serious condition at her home in Great Haywood.

Emergency services rushed to her house on Devereux Gardens. They arrived shortly after 5:10 PM on January 29. Sadly, Philippa, who friends called Pippa, was taken to the hospital but later died.

The police are supporting Philippa’s family during this tough time. They also referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct because of past police contact.

Officers arrested Bryan Jones, 50, from Rugeley. He was charged with breaching the restraining order. He appeared in court on February 1 and was released on bail.

Another man, 24, from Stafford, was arrested for drug-related issues. He has been bailed with conditions while the investigation continues. An online portal is available for anyone with information. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
