A man detained at Connolly Station has been released without charges after a firearm scare on a train
Dublin: So, there was this incident at Connolly Station where a man got arrested. But guess what? He’s been let go without any charges.
It all started when someone reported a guy with a suspicious firearm on a train rolling into the station around 6:20 PM. Talk about a tense moment!
Because of that, they had to pause all the train services while the Gardaí checked things out. They ended up arresting a man in his 50s right there.
Today, the Gardaí confirmed he’s been released, but they’re still looking into it. They’ll be sending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A Garda spokesperson mentioned that the man has been released without charge, but investigations are still ongoing. It’s a bit of a wild story, right?
