Anfield: A shocking incident unfolded when a 16-year-old boy was attacked. He was sprayed with an unknown substance, leaving him in critical condition.

Emergency services rushed to Harrow Road around 7:30 PM on Saturday, December 28. Reports say three males entered a home and targeted the boy.

Along with the spray, he suffered slash wounds to his head, back, and buttocks. Thankfully, he’s expected to leave the hospital soon.

Merseyside Police arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm. He’s been bailed while the investigation continues.

The substance used in the attack is being tested, and police are eager to find out what it was. Detective Inspector Michael Fletcher mentioned it seems to be a targeted attack.

The community is understandably worried, but police are on it. They believe the suspects wore tracksuits and had face coverings, speaking with Liverpool accents.

If anyone has information or footage from the area, they’re urged to come forward. Every little bit helps in solving this case.
