A 27-year-old man has been charged after police found a large cannabis operation in Macduff, with drugs valued at £70,000 seized.
Officers showed up at a place on Skene Street around 10:30 AM on January 18. They discovered a bunch of cannabis plants, worth about £64,800.
They also found some dried cannabis, valued between £5,000 and £6,000. The man faced a judge at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on January 20, and the investigation is still going.
Sergeant Barry Riddoch mentioned that drugs bring a lot of trouble to communities. He encouraged the public to share any info about illegal drugs.
