Police have submitted evidence regarding a Premier League player accused of multiple rapes, as investigations continue into the serious allegations.
London: So, there’s this big story about a Premier League footballer who’s in some serious trouble. The police have sent a whole bunch of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service about him being suspected of rape.
What’s wild is that the player, who hasn’t been named yet, is still playing for his club and getting paid like nothing’s happening. He was first arrested back in July 2022 after a woman in her 20s made a complaint. Then, he got arrested again for two other rape charges involving a different woman from early 2021.
This guy also plays for his national team, and he’s been interviewed by detectives a couple of times, once in February 2023 and again last November. The police have said they’re looking into several reports of alleged sexual offenses that happened between 2021 and 2023.
