West Midlands Police have made significant progress in the Dudley murder investigation
Dudley: So, there’s been a big update in the murder investigation over in Dudley. The police kicked things off after a man in his 40s was found dead at a home early on January 11.
They discovered the victim on Swancote Road, but sadly, he had injuries that were too severe. A 36-year-old man was arrested a few hours later in Wednesbury on suspicion of murder.
As the investigation heats up, the police shared that they’ve got more time to question the suspect. They’re keeping the scene secure while they dig deeper into what happened.
They’re also asking anyone with info, especially if you have doorbell or dashcam footage, to reach out. A spokesperson mentioned they’re supporting the victim’s family during this tough time.
They were called to the scene just before 2:30 AM, and unfortunately, nothing could be done to save the man. The police are really keen to hear from anyone who might have seen or heard something.
