A lorry crash has closed the A14 in Cambridgeshire, causing significant delays as emergency services respond to the scene
Cambridgeshire: The A14 is currently shut down after a lorry crash that happened on Monday afternoon. Traffic is at a standstill while emergency crews are on the scene near Swavesey.
A spokesperson from National Highways mentioned that traffic is halted on the A14 westbound between J25 Bar Hill and J24A Boxworth due to the collision involving a heavy goods vehicle. They thanked everyone for their patience as they work to clear the area.
According to a representative from Cambridgeshire County Council, lanes 2 and 3 are blocked because of the incident. They warned that delays are piling up, so it’s a good idea to plan your journey accordingly.
