Buenos Aires: So, it turns out Liam Payne’s cause of death has been officially confirmed as “polytrauma.” This was revealed during a recent inquest in the UK.
The hearing took place on December 17 at Buckinghamshire Coroner’s Court. They mentioned it might take a while to figure out all the details surrounding his death.
Five people are facing charges related to Liam’s tragic fall from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires. The hotel manager, a receptionist, and a friend of Liam’s are charged with manslaughter.
Those charged include hotel manager Gilda Martin, receptionist Esteban Grassi, and Liam’s friend Roger Nores. Two other hotel staff members are in trouble for allegedly supplying cocaine.
The inquest has been put on hold until a pre-inquest review set for November 6. Dr. Roberto Victor Cohen confirmed that Liam died from multiple traumatic injuries.
During the hearing, they also mentioned that Liam was identified with help from funeral directors in Buckinghamshire. He was described as a “singer and entertainer.”
Senior Coroner Crispin Butler noted that while investigations are ongoing in Argentina, it might take some time to gather all the necessary information.
