An inquest has confirmed Liam Payne’s cause of death as polytrauma, with ongoing investigations in Argentina
Buenos Aires: So, it’s been confirmed that Liam Payne’s cause of death is polytrauma. This came out during an inquest that just opened in the UK. They said it might take a while to figure out all the details surrounding his passing.
Things got serious when five people were charged after Liam fell from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel. The hotel manager, a receptionist, and a friend of his are facing manslaughter charges. It’s a tough situation.
The folks charged include hotel manager Gilda Martin, receptionist Esteban Grassi, and Liam’s friend Roger Nores. Two other hotel staff members are in trouble for allegedly supplying cocaine. It’s a lot to unpack.
The inquest has been put on hold until a pre-inquest review on November 6. The coroner confirmed that Liam died from multiple traumatic injuries, which is just heartbreaking.
During the hearing, they mentioned that Liam was identified with help from funeral directors in Buckinghamshire. It’s just so sad to think about.
Coroner Crispin Butler noted that while investigations are ongoing in Argentina, it might take some time to get all the necessary info. It’s a complicated situation, and they’re trying to do it right.
Liam’s funeral in November was attended by his ex, Cheryl Tweedy, and his One Direction bandmates. It was a tough day for everyone who loved him.
After One Direction went on a break, Liam had a pretty successful solo career. He released his debut album, LP1, in December 2019, which had some great tracks. It’s just a shame he’s gone.
