Pembroke Dock: New stats are out, and they’re pretty exciting for learner drivers in Pembrokeshire. The latest data from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) shows how well folks are doing on their driving tests.
So, here’s the scoop: Pembroke Dock is the only place in the county where you can take your practical driving test. If you’re looking for other options, you’d have to head to nearby towns like Cardigan or Swansea.
From April to September 2024, the pass rate at Pembroke Dock was a solid 60.3%. That means out of 1,034 people who took the test, 623 walked away with their driver’s license. Not too shabby, right?
Breaking it down a bit more, 526 guys took the test, and 329 of them passed, giving them a pass rate of 62.5%. On the flip side, 508 ladies tried their luck, with 294 passing, which is a 57.9% success rate.
