Aberdeen: Laura Main has been a beloved part of Call the Midwife since it started in 2012. She first appeared as Sister Bernadette, but her character took a big turn in season two.
Fans will remember her heartfelt decision to leave the convent and marry Dr. Patrick Turner, played by Stephen McGann. Now, as Shelagh Turner, she’s not just a nurse but also a loving mom to four kids.
