Monmouth: So, guess what? Monmouthshire County Council has been busy with new planning applications. They’ve got a bunch of interesting projects lined up.

First up, in Monmouth, the town council wants to put up a welcome archway on Church Street. They’re also looking to add some lights and signs to make the area more inviting.

Then there’s HMP Prescoed, where the Ministry of Justice is working on some environmental plans. They’re focusing on biodiversity and managing bats, which is pretty cool.

In Trellech, a guy named Adrian Banford wants to build a new office and workshop. He’s also planning to put up some garden sheds. Sounds like a busy place!

Over in Grosmont, Flutterby Ltd is working on some barn renovations. They’re tweaking the windows and doors for three barns at Old Court Farm.

In Raglan, Robert and Emma Skipp are looking to extend their bungalow with two new single-storey extensions. More space is always a good idea!

Meanwhile, in Goytre, Mr and Mrs Fawcett are proposing a new dwelling. They’re making some changes to an existing plan, so it’ll be interesting to see how that turns out.

In Llandenny, the Richards couple is applying for a certificate to build extensions and outbuildings at their cottage. It’s nice to see people improving their homes.

In Llangybi, Neil Upadhyay wants to change his garage plans to a gym. Who doesn’t love a home gym, right?

Dr. Robert Colter in Llandogo is looking to put up a garden shed. It’s always handy to have a little extra storage.

In Chepstow, Katherine Matthews is making some changes to her workshop plans. She wants to match the brickwork of her property instead of using wood. Smart move!

Grant Powell in Devauden is replacing a big conservatory with a smaller pergola. Sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to cost.

Timothy Rees in Mounton is planning to replace his garage with a new ancillary building. It’ll be nice to see that upgrade.

Lastly, there’s an application from Mr and Mrs D Price in Mitchel Troy to change an access track. They’re looking to make it wider, which should help with access.

And Mark John in Mitchel Troy Common wants to add a small window to his cottage. It’s all about making those little improvements!
