Monmouth: So, there’s been a bunch of new planning applications rolling in for Monmouthshire County Council. Let’s break it down a bit.

First up, there’s a proposal for a steel agricultural building at Greig Lodge Farm in Grosmont. It’s meant to cover a concrete slurry store, so that’s pretty practical.

Then, Caitlin Williams wants to make some changes to her place at Forge Cottage in The Hendre. Sounds like she’s looking to spruce things up a bit.

Over in Goytre, Mr. and Mrs. K J Pring and Probert are planning a two-storey extension at their home on Newtown Road. They’re hoping to create a bigger bedroom and a larger kitchen and living area with a single-storey extension at the back.

Hilary Gooch from Llandogo is also in the mix, applying for a rear extension and some driveway alterations at her home.

In Tintern, Mr. and Mrs. Cumming want to add a single-story glass room to their place at Highbury House. That should be a lovely spot to relax!

Meanwhile, Izabella Kharchenko is looking to put up an advertising sign for her spa at 27 High Street in Chepstow. Always good to see local businesses promoting themselves.

John Heywood from Chepstow is planning to install a wheelchair lift at his gallery, making it more accessible for everyone.

Terry Crumpton has plans for an oak-framed carport at his home in Itton Common, which will include a small shed and keep the boundary fence intact.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith are looking to extend their home at 25 Auden Close in Monmouth, adding a patio deck and balustrade to the back.

In Abergavenny, Mr. A Griffiths has submitted plans to demolish a couple of buildings on Frogmore Street after a fire. It’s a tough situation, but hopefully, they can rebuild.

Ian Davies wants to convert his garage into an Airbnb holiday let at Lindy’s Barn in Mathern. That could be a nice little getaway for visitors!

Bill Leddington is planning some tree work at St Thomas Church in Monmouth, which should help keep the area looking nice.

Lastly, Mr. and Mrs. Lister are looking to build a new two-storey home on their land at Sun Valley, Mounton Road in Chepstow. Exciting times ahead!
