Biddulph Moor: So, Neil and Nic Casewell are wrapping things up at the Rose & Crown pub tonight. They were supposed to stay until late January, but it looks like they decided to leave a bit earlier.

After running the place for over two years, they’ve brought their departure forward. The pub was closed for a couple of days this week but is reopening at 3 PM today for one last hurrah.

Joule’s Brewery, the hospitality chain, has already lined up a new tenant to take over. In a heartfelt message on social media, Neil and Nic shared their decision to leave sooner than planned.

They’re inviting everyone to come by for a final drink on Friday. They mentioned that the back bar and wine fridge are stocked, and they’ll have some deals to help clear things out.

They’d prefer cash if possible, and they really want to see familiar faces for a last goodbye. It’s been a good run, and they’re grateful for all the support and memories made at the Rose & Crown.
