Dominic Wood, once a kids TV star, has embraced a new passion for DIY renovations, captivating fans with his home projects online.
Surrey: Remember Dominic Wood? He was a big deal on kids’ TV back in the day, especially with his show Dick & Dom in da Bungalow. That was nearly 20 years ago! Now, he’s taken a totally different path.
The show was a wild ride, filled with silly games and lots of laughs. Kids loved it, but parents? Not so much. There were complaints about the chaos, especially when contestants got slimed. Good times, right?
After the show ended in 2006, Dominic kind of disappeared from the spotlight. But guess what? He’s back! This time, he’s sharing his DIY adventures on social media under the name @the+houseofwood.
One of his videos, where he’s fixing up a staircase, really took off. Fans couldn’t help but joke about his past, saying things like, “So much less work when you lived in a bungalow.” Classic!
And it’s not just DIY. Last summer, he and his co-host Richard McCourt were spotted DJing at a nightclub. They’re still making waves, even in their late 40s!
Dominic started his DIY journey in June 2020 after buying a 1930s house with his wife, Sandi Lee Hughes. The pandemic slowed things down, but he’s been sharing his progress online, and fans are loving it.
Looks like Dominic Wood just can’t stay away from the limelight, no matter what he’s up to!
