A lorry crash in Canterbury led to a car being struck by debris, injuring the driver and causing significant disruption in the city centre.
Canterbury: So, there was this lorry crash in the city centre on Monday afternoon. It happened around 4:18 PM when the lorry hit the central barrier on Rheims Way. Pretty chaotic, right?
Emergency services rushed to the scene, including the Kent Police. They found that the lorry had done some serious damage to the barrier, and the road was partially blocked while they sorted things out. A car got hit by debris from the crash, which is just wild.
The driver of that car ended up with minor injuries, thankfully. No one else was hurt, which is a relief. The responders worked hard to clear the lorry and fix the barrier, and the police were there for nearly six hours!

They confirmed that the car was struck by debris, and the driver reported just a minor injury. Highways came in to deal with the barrier, and they finally wrapped things up just before 10 PM.
