A man arrested in connection with John George’s murder has been released on bail as investigations continue into the case
Torrevieja: So, a guy showed up in court today after being arrested for the murder of John George from West Belfast. The judge decided to let him go on bail while the investigation rolls on.
It seems like the police think there might be at least one more person involved in this whole mess, but no one else has been arrested yet. They’re still digging into it.
A spokesperson from the local High Court mentioned that the judge, who was on duty, released the man with some conditions. They’re treating him as an accomplice in the homicide case.
He’s got to check in at court every two weeks, hand over his passport, and he can’t leave Spain. The court is still working hard to get to the bottom of this situation.
The man, who hasn’t been named yet, is now officially under investigation. In Spain, that means he’s an ‘investigado.’ They won’t lay any formal charges until just before the trial starts.
