Jarrow: A woman named Lindsay Davison really shocked paramedics recently. They were just trying to help her, but she ended up attacking them instead.

On two different occasions, the ambulance crew went to her home because they were worried about her. But when they arrived, they faced some scary aggression.

On November 17, paramedics rushed to her place after a report that she wasn’t breathing. But on their way, they got a heads-up that she had been aggressive before.

When they got there, no one answered at first. But then the door opened, and they saw a big dog. Just as they were backing away, they spotted Davison holding a knife and pointing it at them!

She threw a bread knife at them, which landed in the garden. But she wasn’t done; she picked it up and hurled it again before retreating inside.

One of the paramedics said he was really shaken up by the whole thing. They were just trying to help her, and it was upsetting to be treated that way.

Then, on December 4, they had to go back again and found her unconscious. When she woke up, they tried to talk to her, but she got agitated and threatened them again with a knife.

Davison, who’s 30 and has a record, pleaded guilty to assaulting emergency workers and threatening them with a knife. She got a suspended sentence, which means she won’t go to jail right now, but she has to stay out of trouble.

The judge noted that she seemed to be making progress and was going through a tough time. But he made it clear that threatening emergency workers is a serious matter.

It’s a wild story, and it just goes to show how important it is to treat those who help us with respect.
