North Staffordshire: Knypersley First School is celebrating a fantastic start to 2025. They received top ratings in all areas during their latest inspection.
Ofsted inspectors praised the students’ enthusiasm and the staff’s support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The school also helps those eligible for free school meals.
The inspection happened last month, and the report came out earlier this month. It found the school outstanding in quality of education, behavior, and standards.
The report highlighted that Knypersley First School offers excellent education for all students. It provides many opportunities for success, especially for disadvantaged students.
The school is full of aspiration and enthusiasm. It truly lives by its motto: “learning together, learning for life.”
Students behave and learn exceptionally well due to the school’s high expectations. They are excited and curious learners.
From Reception Year to Year Four, children are eager to learn. They show great enthusiasm when sharing their knowledge.
Since the last inspection, the school has welcomed more students with SEND and those eligible for free school meals. The school pays special attention to these students.
They ensure all specific needs are met, allowing every student to achieve exceptionally well from their starting points.
Abigail Rourke, the Executive Headteacher, expressed gratitude to the talented staff team. She noted their dedication and commitment to going above and beyond.
She also thanked the Local Advisory Board and the Children First Learning Partnership Team for their support in maintaining high standards and opportunities for students.
