In the last year and a half, police have logged a ton of complaints about these wild car meets. A lot of the noise and trouble has been happening around Chalons Way, especially in the last couple of months of 2024.
There was even a viral video of a car drifting around a roundabout that really got people talking. Plus, a YouTube video showed a big car meet at the Manners Industrial Estate, with cars lined up and engines roaring. It’s clear this is a big issue for the community.
The council thinks many of these meets are organized by a group called Forza, but there are also smaller gatherings popping up. It’s tough for the police to keep track of everything since these events can be spontaneous.
Residents have been pretty vocal about how this behavior is affecting their lives. They’re tired of the noise and the disruption, especially on weekends when they just want to relax.
