Bristol City Council is reviewing plans for hundreds of new flats in St Pauls and Bedminster, including student accommodations and community spaces
Bristol: Exciting news for the city! There are plans for hundreds of new flats in St Pauls and Bedminster. The Bristol City Council is currently looking at these proposals, which could really change the area.
In St Pauls, they’re thinking about building 280 homes and 420 student beds on Dove Lane. This spot has been empty for a while, so it’s great to see some action. Godwin Developments already has plans for more homes there, so this could be a big boost.
Over in Bedminster, there’s a proposal for a huge 19-storey tower with 420 student beds and 460 homes. The developers are still in the early stages, but they’ve been chatting with locals to get their thoughts. It’s nice to see them involved in the process.
There’s also a plan for a seven-storey block of flats at the end of Hope Road. They want to replace an old warehouse with 88 new flats. The developers say it’ll be mostly car-free, but parking is already a hassle in that area.
And if you’re into advertising, there’s a new digital screen planned to replace an old billboard on Eastgate Road. It’ll be more efficient and change its ads every ten seconds. Sounds like Bristol is gearing up for some big changes!
