They’ve been training hard for about ten weeks now, and you can tell they’re itching to get on the field. With only one more game lined up against Castleford Tigers before the Challenge Cup kicks off, the excitement is building. Coach John Cartwright mentioned how the players are really looking forward to playing again after all that tackling in training.
Cartwright said they did something different with the contact session against York, and now they have a weekend off before diving back into games. He’s feeling optimistic about the team’s readiness for the upcoming season. After the cup match, they’ll face Catalans Dragons in Perpignan, and Cartwright is focused on keeping the players grounded and not overly concerned about the competition.
