Motorists are facing significant delays on the M6 due to a multi-vehicle crash near Birmingham
Birmingham: So, there’s been a pretty messy crash on the M6 northbound. It happened between Junction 6 and Junction 7, and it’s causing some serious delays.
Right now, two lanes are closed, and folks are stuck in traffic for about an hour. Emergency services are on the scene, and a recovery truck is heading that way.
There’s around four miles of congestion starting from Junction 5. A spokesperson from National Highways West Midlands mentioned that lanes one and two are shut due to this multi-vehicle pile-up.
They also said they’re working hard to clear things up. If you’re heading that way, be prepared for a wait of up to 60 minutes.
National Highways even posted on social media about the situation, warning drivers about the closed lanes and the backup. It’s definitely a good idea to check for updates if you’re planning to travel.
