The beloved sitcom Outnumbered returns for a Christmas special, showcasing the grown-up Brockman kids and their new lives.
London: One of the UK’s favorite sitcoms, Outnumbered, is making a comeback with a Christmas special in 2024. It’s been 17 years since it first hit our screens in 2007, and now we get to see Pete and Sue Brockman with their all-grown-up kids, Karen, Ben, and Jake.
When the show started, Tyger Drew-Honey, who played Jake, was just 11. Daniel Roche, who played Ben, was only eight, and Ramona Marquez, who played Karen, was just six. Fast forward to today, and Tyger is 28, Daniel is 25, and Ramona is 23. Can you believe it?
The last time we saw them for a Christmas special was back in 2016. This new episode is set to air at 9 PM on Boxing Day, December 26, on BBC One. In this special, Sue and Pete are adjusting to life in a smaller home now that their kids have moved out.
One of the biggest changes is that Jake is now a dad to a lively three-year-old! Meanwhile, his siblings are figuring out the ups and downs of adult life. Daniel shared how filming this special made him appreciate the show and its impact on their lives. He said, “For me and Ramona, we were young and didn’t really have anything to compare it to.”
Tyger chimed in, recalling his excitement as a kid. He said, “I was 10 and just thought it was cool to be on TV. I never imagined we’d still be doing this 18 years later.”
They’ve all formed unique bonds over the years. Tyger mentioned that for him, Ramona and Daniel are like siblings, and Hugh and Claire feel like a second set of parents. It’s heartwarming to see how close they’ve all become.
So, let’s take a look at how the Outnumbered kids have changed from then to now!
