Vistry Group supports Monmouthshire’s Christmas Wishes initiative for children in need
Monmouthshire: A housebuilder has stepped up to help out this Christmas. Vistry Group has donated gifts to make sure vulnerable kids in the area get presents.
They set up a collection point and brought in all sorts of goodies like toys, games, and even toiletries. It’s all part of the Christmas Wishes initiative.
Sarah Sperring from Vistry Bristol shared how happy they are to support this cause again. She praised the hard work of the children’s services team at Monmouthshire County Council.
These folks are busy organizing the gifts, matching them to kids, and getting them ready for delivery in the next few days.
The gifts will go to children and families that social services are helping, including those in care and young people without family support.
Karen Power from the council expressed gratitude for the support. She emphasized the importance of not forgetting these vulnerable kids during the holiday season.
If anyone wants to contribute to the Monmouthshire children’s services appeal, they can check out the council’s website and look for the Christmas Wishes section.
Vistry Group is also busy building new homes in the area, which will help the community in more ways than one.
These new homes are energy-efficient and come with nice open spaces for everyone to enjoy. Plus, they’re contributing a good chunk of money towards local education and recreation.
