City & Country announces plans for the Bath Press site with new architecture firm
Bath: Exciting news for the Bath Press site! City & Country has teamed up with Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios to kick off the redevelopment of this historic area. They’re also working with Grant Associates for the landscaping, which is pretty cool.
This 5.3-acre site has been sitting empty since 2007, and it’s about time something happens there. City & Country bought it earlier this year and already has planning permission. They’re looking to create more homes in this prime spot, which is great for the community.
Simon Vernon-Harcourt from City & Country is really pumped about working with FCB Studios again. He knows they have a solid reputation for creating beautiful spaces. Plus, it’s nice that they’re doing this in their hometown of Bath.
Keith Bradley from FCB Studios also shared his excitement. He believes that good design can really make a difference in communities. They want to create buildings that people can be proud of, which is a fantastic goal.
Keith French from Grant Associates is equally thrilled. He sees this project as a chance to breathe new life into a historic site. They’re eager to engage with the community and make something special together.
With the Bath Press site being part of a World Heritage area, future residents will be close to all the cultural and historic attractions Bath has to offer. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
