Hanley: So, the Pig & Pitchfork has closed its doors for good. It was located in the old Klay Pizzeria spot in the Cultural Quarter. They just opened there last year.

This closure comes right after The Gin Rummy Bar & Kitchen moved into the same area. It’s a bummer because the Pig & Pitchfork had a great spot right across from The Regent Theatre.

They shared a heartfelt message on social media, saying it was a tough decision after seven years in the community. They really appreciated all the support from their customers.

They mentioned that changes in the market and economy made it hard to keep going. If you had any bookings or vouchers, they asked folks to reach out.

It’s sad to see them go, but they’re grateful for all the memories and connections made over the years. It’s definitely the end of an era for many regulars.
