Gwent Police are appealing for information on a burglary attempt in Cwmbran while the homeowner was away during December
They really want to hear from anyone who might know something about these guys. It all went down on December 18 at around 7:53 PM.
Wendy Mckenna, the homeowner, was actually on the M25 when she got a notification on her phone. Can you believe it? She saw the thieves trying to break in through her Ring camera.
She was in her car, miles away, and there were these two guys lurking around her house. They were wearing hoods and face coverings, trying to be sneaky.
Wendy quickly called her neighbor and asked him to alert the police. One of the guys even spotted the camera and threw a crowbar at it, trying to mess with the footage.
But Wendy wasn’t just sitting there. She accessed her alarm system from the road and set it off. She even spoke to the intruders through the speaker, telling them the police were on their way.
That definitely scared them off! Her neighbor called the cops, and they showed up in no time—four police cars, just like that. Wendy was super relieved.
