Glasgow: Primark is rolling out a fresh clothing line aimed at shoppers with disabilities this month. It’s a big step towards making fashion more inclusive.

Starting January 28, three stores in Scotland will showcase this adaptive line. Plus, you can find it in 113 other locations that offer click & collect.

Shoppers in Glasgow can check out the new range at the Primark stores in Braehead Shopping Centre and Argyle Street. Exciting, right?

This 49-piece collection is part of Primark’s push for better accessibility. They teamed up with Victoria Jenkins, a well-known designer and disability advocate, to create this line.

The collection features clothing designed for both men and women with various disabilities. You’ll find everything from t-shirts to trench coats, jumpers, and jeans.

Primark also consulted with the disabled community to ensure the clothes are practical. They’ve included handy features like magnetic zippers and hidden openings for medical access.

There are options for wheelchair users too, which is fantastic. The news about this collection has been met with lots of positive feedback on Instagram.

One shopper said, “Congratulations, this is brilliant. Can’t wait to see it!” Another added, “Well done, Primark! Love your inclusive approach.”

People involved in the project expressed their excitement too, saying it’s an honor to be part of such a groundbreaking initiative.

This launch comes after a study revealed the struggles disabled shoppers face when looking for fashionable clothing. It’s clear there’s a need for this kind of line.

Just last year, Primark introduced its first adapted lingerie line, which was a hit. The new clothing line is priced affordably, starting from just £8.

Ann-Marie Cregan, Primark’s Trading Director, emphasized the importance of making fashion accessible for everyone. She noted that many people’s needs aren’t being met on the high street.

She said, “This collection is a vital step in helping more people find clothes that make them feel good without breaking the bank.”

They’ve worked hard to blend adaptive features with style and comfort, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their fashion choices.
