Cardiff: So, it turns out that fans of Gavin & Stacey are just now catching on to the fact that Nessa and Dawn were in a sitcom together before the show we all know and love. Can you believe it?

Ruth Jones, who plays the hilarious Nessa, co-created the show with James Corden. She’s been a fan favorite for ages, and now people are realizing she and Julia Davis, who plays Dawn, worked together in a dark comedy called Nighty Night.

In Nighty Night, Julia plays a pretty wild character named Jill Tyrell, who’s a bit of a sociopath. Ruth, on the other hand, plays her not-so-bright assistant, Linda. The show is known for its dark humor, and it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Fans have been buzzing about this connection on social media, sharing their love for Nighty Night. One fan even asked if others had seen it, saying it’s just as good, if not better, than Gavin & Stacey!

Some folks mistook clips from Nighty Night for scenes from Gavin & Stacey, which is pretty funny. It just shows how much people love these characters and the actors behind them.

Nighty Night only ran for two series before it got the axe in 2005, but it left a mark. There was even talk of a US version, but that never happened. Still, it’s cool to see how these actors have crossed paths before hitting it big in Gavin & Stacey.

With the show making a comeback soon, fans are excited to see what’s next for Nessa and the gang. Who knows, maybe they’ll throw in a nod to Nighty Night!
