Cardiff: So, you won’t believe what happened to Melanie Walters on set! While filming the Christmas special of Gavin and Stacey, she had a total wardrobe malfunction.

The cast got together in 2024 for what was supposed to be a big reunion. They were finally revealing what happened to Smithy and Nessa after all this time.

But behind the scenes, things took a funny turn. Melanie, who plays Gwen, thought the cameras were off and started changing her clothes. Little did she know, everyone could still see her!

Joanna Page, who plays Stacey, shared the story. They were all set to say goodbye when Melanie thought she was off-camera. She was just getting comfy, not realizing the crew was still rolling.

Joanna was having a heartfelt moment with Matthew Horne when she suddenly noticed Melanie on the big screen, changing her outfit. She couldn’t believe her eyes!

“I had to warn her,” Joanna said, laughing. She quickly texted Melanie, “Mel, stop! We can see you!”

Luckily, Melanie got the message just in time. “I was about to take my top off!” she joked later on a podcast. They both found it hilarious, even if it was a bit mortifying for Melanie.
