A fire on a Gatwick Express train has led to the station’s closure, causing major travel disruptions for passengers.
London: A fire broke out on a Gatwick Express train today, leading to the station being shut down. Passengers were quickly evacuated from the train, which caused quite a scene.
According to a Gatwick Express spokesperson on social media, emergency services are on-site handling the situation. They also mentioned that no services will be running until they get the all-clear.

Thankfully, everyone seems to be okay, and the staff acted fast to ensure everyone got out safely.
London Gatwick Airport also posted an update, confirming a fire alarm was triggered at the train station and that passengers were moved to the South Terminal for safety.
