London: So, there was quite a scene at Gatwick Airport today. Emergency services rushed in after a fire alarm went off at the train station.
They had to evacuate everyone into the South Terminal while they figured out what was going on. The station is closed for now, and they’re asking folks to check their travel plans.
According to a tweet from Gatwick, they’re on it and will keep everyone updated. The West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is also involved, trying to get to the bottom of things.
One passenger, Clare McDonnell, even shared a video showing a train that reportedly caught fire as it arrived. She warned others heading to the airport to be cautious.
