Lincoln: Gareth Gates is buzzing about his upcoming performance in the city. He’s back with a show called “Gareth Gates Sings Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.” It’s his first time producing a show, and he’s super excited.

He mentioned that rehearsals kick off soon, and he can’t wait to dive in. It’s been about ten years since he last performed at the New Theatre Royal, and he has fond memories of Lincoln from his childhood.

Gareth was a choirboy at Bradford Cathedral, and he’s sung at Lincoln Cathedral a few times. He’s got some great memories tied to the place, which makes this return even more special.

He’ll be performing with a full live band, and he’s thrilled to share these classic songs with his fans. He’s already had some shows, and audiences have been loving it, often getting up to dance.

Gareth grew up listening to Frankie Valli’s music thanks to his parents, so performing hits like “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” is a dream come true for him. He joked about needing to wear tight trousers to hit those high notes!

Fans might also recognize him from his recent stint on SAS: Who Dares Wins Celebrity, where he opened up about his experiences with bullying due to his stammer. Singing has always been his escape, and he feels like a different person on stage.

He’s had an impressive theatre career, starting with a role in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Now, he’s even working on his own musical set to debut in late 2025, which will tell a personal story about overcoming a stammer.

Tickets for his show in Lincoln and other locations are already on sale, so fans should grab them while they can!
