On a different note, gardai in Galway are looking into some burglaries that happened over the weekend. Homes in the Newcastle area were targeted, with a laptop stolen from one residence.
Another nearby property was also hit around the same time, with the break-ins occurring between Saturday night and Sunday evening. The investigation is still ongoing.
