Stoke-on-Trent: The Bistro Quarters was a hit right after it opened. It quickly became one of the most-booked restaurants in Staffordshire. The place had a classy vibe and was run by former Manchester City chef Mark Walker.

Years of planning went into this top-end restaurant on Basford Bank. It even had a beauty salon set to open later this year. But just 60 days after its grand opening, the Bistro Quarters has shut down.

Now, it’s heading toward liquidation. Its website and Facebook page have vanished. A notice on the Beauty and the Bistro site explained that they closed due to a lack of customers. They are now working on the liquidation process.

In January, OpenTable listed The Bistro Quarters as one of its top three most-booked restaurants. Diners were eager to return, but that won’t happen now.

Here’s what diners had to say about The Bistro Quarters:

One reviewer praised the beautifully cooked food and friendly staff. They loved the cocktails and said they would definitely return. Another customer called the venue superb, with beautiful décor and excellent service.

A third diner described it as a diamond of a restaurant. They were amazed by the fresh food and the attentive staff. They looked forward to bringing friends and family for Sunday lunch.
