A disabled mother from East Kilbride has gone missing after leaving home on her mobility scooter, sparking a desperate search by her loved ones.
East Kilbride: A frantic search is on for a disabled mum named Gemma Nash. She left her home on her mobility scooter and hasn’t come back.
Gemma, who’s 32, was last seen around 2:30 PM on January 7. Her partner, Christopher, is really worried. He said her last words were a bit chilling: “I’ll be back in two days or won’t be back at all.”
She was heading towards Glen Esk greenspace on her blue scooter. It’s a bit concerning because she has her phone but no cash or bank cards. We’re not sure if she took her medication either.
Christopher shared that Gemma had been through a tough time. She was bed-bound for months but could walk a bit at home. He’s been searching Glen Esk, but no luck so far. He’s just hoping she’s safe.
He made a heartfelt plea: “Come home please, let us know you’re safe. We love you and need you.”
Gemma is about 5ft 4, has long dark auburn hair, and wears glasses with a pinky peach frame. Last seen in a beige hoodie, black leggings, and black crocs, she also took a large backpack with camping gear.
Police Scotland is on the case, asking anyone with info to reach out. Let’s hope she’s found soon and back home where she belongs.
