Hassane Kolingar faced a cardiac arrest at a wedding, leading to a coma and surgery to address a heart issue.
Auxerre: So, you won’t believe what happened to Hassane Kolingar. The France rugby player had a serious scare at a wedding. He ended up having a cardiac arrest, which is just wild.
He was at his teammate Ibrahim Diallo’s wedding when it all went down. Kolingar had just taken some snus, which is that tobacco stuff, and then he started feeling really weird. He thought it was just low blood sugar at first.
But then, things got intense. He felt pressure in his chest, was sweating, and even saw stars. It was no joke. He ended up going into cardiac arrest right there. Can you imagine?
Luckily, some of his teammates were there to help him out. They called for help, and the firefighters had to put him in a coma to stabilize him. They shocked him four times to get his heart back on track.
After that, he was rushed to a hospital in Auxerre and then moved to a cardiology unit near Paris. He even had to have surgery to fix a heart scar he’s had since he was born. Talk about a rollercoaster!
Kolingar is back on the field now, but he definitely had a close call. It’s a reminder of how quickly things can change, even at a celebration.
