Portsmouth: So, it turns out that two food supplement products have been recalled because they have way more vitamin D than what’s on the label. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is on it, letting everyone know about the TriOn Pharma products.

They’re pulling Aactive D3 Drops and Aactive D3 Solution off the shelves since they contain higher levels of vitamin D3 than advertised. The specific product causing the fuss is the Aactive D3 2,000iu/ml Oral Drops, which comes in a 20ml bottle. If you have one, check the batch code LS23317 and the best before date, which is November 2025.

There’s also the Aactive D3 2,000iu/ml Oral Solution, which is in a 50ml bottle with batch code LS23318, and it shares the same best before date. The FSA warns that too much vitamin D3 can lead to some nasty health issues, like high blood calcium levels. You might feel symptoms like nausea, weakness, or even heart problems if you take too much.

TriOn Pharma is taking these products back, and stores will have notices up explaining why. If you’ve bought any of these, don’t eat them! Just return them to the store for a full refund. If you need more info, you can reach out to TriOn Pharma directly.

The FSA also shared that if there’s a problem with a food product, it might be withdrawn or recalled. They keep everyone in the loop with notices to make sure consumers and local authorities know what’s going on. It’s all about keeping us safe!
