It all went down on JetBlue Flight 161, which was just about to take off for San Juan, Puerto Rico. They were still on the ground at Logan Airport when this happened. The flight was stopped right there on the tarmac.

According to reports, the guy jumped up from his seat and bolted down the aisle to the emergency door. He opened it and even tried to jump out! Thankfully, other passengers quickly jumped in to restrain him.

A passenger sitting behind them said the whole thing started because the boyfriend wanted to see the girlfriend’s phone, but she wouldn’t let him. Talk about a dramatic way to settle a dispute!

The pilot had to inform Air Traffic Control about the situation, saying they had a passenger who opened the door and tried to jump out. Luckily, an air marshal was on board and tackled the guy before anything worse could happen.

After the chaos, the flight was delayed for about three hours. The airline eventually switched everyone to another plane, and they made it to San Juan safely. What a crazy story to tell!
