A car was set ablaze in a Crewe park early Sunday, prompting police to investigate the suspected arson.
Firefighters and police rushed to the park around 3am after getting reports of the blaze. When they arrived, the car was already engulfed in flames.
A photo from the scene showed the car burning on the grass, and it was clear that this wasn’t just an accident. The fire crew had to use special gear and hoses to put it out.
The police are treating this as a deliberate act and are asking anyone who might have seen something suspicious to come forward. They’re especially interested in any video footage from that time.
