Five young males face charges after images of anti-social behaviour and weapons circulated widely online in Cumbernauld
Cumbernauld: So, it turns out five young guys have been charged for some pretty serious stuff. They were caught up in images that went viral on social media, showing them acting out and even having weapons.
The police have ramped up their patrols in the area, saying they’re going to keep a close eye on things for the next few weeks. They’re not messing around with this kind of behaviour.
All five of these youths are male, and community officers managed to track them down pretty quickly. The police made it clear that this kind of nonsense just won’t fly in Cumbernauld.
According to a spokesperson from Police Scotland, they’ve been looking into these widely shared images. They showed people getting up to no good and having weapons, which is definitely not okay.
They’ve made it clear that they’re treating this as a top priority. The police are on it, and they’re not going to let this slide.
