A new coffee shop opens in Farnworth Green, marking the start of a vibrant community hub with homes, shops, and green spaces.
Farnworth: A new coffee shop is opening this weekend. The Coffee House will be the first business in the newly developed Farnworth Green. This area replaces the old market precinct and will have homes, shops, and green spaces.
This Coffee House is the second location for the family-run business in Bolton. Their first shop is near the town hall on Victoria Square.
Chris Shelmerdine, the managing director, is excited about this new store. He says the original location has been well-received by locals. They look forward to continuing that success in Farnworth.
Each Coffee House has unique designs that reflect the local area. The Farnworth location will celebrate the town’s heritage with thoughtful touches.
Tom Wilmot, a developer for Farnworth Green, believes coffee shops are vital for communities. He’s thrilled to see Coffee House open quickly, as it will create a buzz in the area.
Wilmot mentions that the coffee shop will provide residents with great coffee and pastries. This is an exciting time for Farnworth, with plans for zero carbon homes and more independent businesses coming soon.
He adds that Farnworth Green aims to redefine town centers. The developers plan to use this neighborhood approach in other areas across Greater Manchester.
