His daughters, Kirsty Hayes and Amie Seaforth, have set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the costs. They want to give their dad the send-off he truly deserves, allowing friends and family to pay their respects.
Barrie was a familiar face in the Wellington and Taunton areas, and his sudden passing has shocked everyone who knew him. So far, they’ve raised £245 towards their £2,600 goal.
Kirsty shared how devastating this news has been for her and her siblings, saying, “We feel our dad deserves a proper send-off.” She expressed gratitude for the support they’ve received so far, which means a lot to the family.
Initially, police arrested a suspect in connection with the incident, but he was later released after a review of the evidence. The family continues to seek closure and support during this difficult time.
