A peacock’s rooftop adventure in Glasgow had locals and emergency crews laughing
Glasgow: An unusual scene unfolded when a peacock decided to take a stroll on a rooftop. This feathered escape artist had everyone in stitches, especially the emergency workers who got the call.
Colin William was just heading home from work when he spotted a bunch of neighbors gathered on Raasay Street around 11 PM. They were all buzzing about a peacock on a roof, and at first, he thought they were just pulling his leg.
But then he saw it for himself. Colin couldn’t believe his eyes! Apparently, a family down the street owns four peacocks, and he had no clue after living there for five years.
This particular peacock had been hanging out on the roof for about six hours before Colin arrived. He called the Fire Brigade and the Police, and they couldn’t help but laugh at the situation. Not your everyday emergency in Milton, right?
Colin stuck around with the owners as they tried to lure the bird down with some bread. He was a bit worried about the weather and how the peacock would handle it. Thankfully, the owners managed to coax it down by 9 AM the next morning.
Colin even shared a video of the whole thing on TikTok, where locals chimed in with their thoughts. One person joked about having a peacock as a pet in Milton, while another couldn’t believe it was real. It’s not every day you see a peacock perched on a house!
