London: In tonight’s episode, viewers see April’s struggles through flashbacks. It starts with her leaving the village at Christmas. She pays £85 for a hotel room but soon finds herself on the streets.

April tries to find a safe place to sleep. After calling friends for help, she ends up sleeping next to some bins. Later, two drunk men spill drinks on her, forcing her to move.

She meets a group of homeless people. One man offers her a bed, but another warns her he’s dangerous. Despite this, she befriends him, even when he tries to steal from her. He takes her to a house with other homeless kids.

By New Year’s Eve, April feels abandoned by her friends. She admits to her roommates that she is pregnant. This adds to her struggles as they notice she’s often sick.

In another flashback, April begs on the street with a girl. A passer-by gives them hot chocolate, but it gets stolen. The girl tries to get it back and gets stabbed in the process.

Later, April steals from a café and finds a missing poster of herself. The police search her shelter, and she sneaks out. In pain, she hides in a gym toilet and gives birth.

Eventually, she’s found on a park bench, ignored by a parent and child. Fans are already discussing the episode on social media.
