Los Angeles: So, Elton John was at the Golden Globes, and he had a little chat about his eyesight. He joked about it while presenting an award, which was pretty cool. The guy’s 77, and he’s been dealing with some vision issues after an eye infection this past summer.

While he was up there with Brandi Carlile, he reassured everyone that his eyesight isn’t as bad as people have been saying. He seemed really happy to be there, even mentioning Rihanna, which was a nice touch.

When the winners for the best original score were announced, he cheered them on. It was for a movie called Challengers, starring Zendaya. You could feel the excitement in the room as they thanked her and the cast for their support.

Earlier this year, Elton shared that he had limited vision in one eye due to that severe infection. He mentioned it’s a slow healing process, but he’s staying positive about it.

At a recent musical opening, he talked about how he hasn’t been able to see many previews because of his eyesight. But he still loves to hear the music, and he was really impressed with what he heard that night.

By the way, his last UK performance was at Glastonbury in 2023, wrapping up a massive farewell tour. He’s also made history by achieving EGOT status, which is a big deal in the entertainment world.
